Cestino Chandelier
Cestino Chandelier
NMCEHPLG-NA
For hundreds of years, Native people throughout the Americas used plant fibers and grasses to weave baskets to carry food or wood, winnow grains, store possessions, and give as gifts. Basket designs are as varied as the plants, trees and grasses used to make them. The basket collection at the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture is sizable and impressive and served as inspiration for the Maze Pendant Light. The Cestino Chandelier from the Crossroads Collection is inspired by a woven yucca fiber basket in the collections of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture.
The shade is large-scale and is made of hand-woven rattan peel with leather hanging details and single bulb pendant kit. Also available as a Pendant and in Black and tonal Natural.

Care
Care
Our furniture, lighting + home décor pieces are designed with longevity in mind, and with regular care can be enjoyed for generations to come. All our products are made of natural materials and thus will change over time subject to environmental factors like humidity, temperature, and placement. To maintain the look and integrity of each piece, we recommend following the guidelines provided below.
Spot clean with a soft cloth using a soapflake solution (1 teaspoon of soap flakes dissolved in 4 cups of hot water). Avoid standing or kneeling on woven furniture to prevent breakage. If you live in a dry climate, woven furniture can be lightly misted with a spray bottle once a month and hydrated annually with boiled linseed oil.
